01 Jul CIPP Liner Installation in Newport Beach CA New Construction
In this short video, Chris Fults with SOS is showing the plumbing team in preparations for a new cured in place pipe liner (CIPP) to be installed in the existing sewer lateral. The reline will go from the bike path out to the middle of the street. The city of Newport Beach inspects the main pre and post-construction. Call us when you need professional sewer lining and CIPP services. We understand the local codes and do things the right way.

This is Chris Folds with SOS Plumbing and Trenchless here with Fernando and Mario splitting a liner on the first day of summer in beautiful Newport Beach. We’re just [going to] line the construction project, meaning we’re putting in a new [sewer] lateral. And, we’re putting in a new cured in place liner. We’re [going to] start here at this 6-inch clay sewer main. It’s right at the property line. What we’re [going to] do is reline it underneath the bike path and then out to about the middle of the street. In the city of Newport Beach, every new construction project requires that the sewer main is inspected pre and post-construction, then they (the city) make a decision. Most of the time they want you to either [reline] or replace the old line.
